OCDSB Launches iPhone App

International Day of Biological Diversity at MacSkimming Outdoor Education Centre

May 18th, 2013 11am - 4pm

The 2013 Eastern Ontario Regional Envirothon was held at MacSkimming Outdoor Education Centre on April 8, 22, and 23.

From noon to 2 p.m. on May 24, we're celebrating 40 years in the community with current and former students, parents and staff.

D.A. Moodie put their two cents together and came up with more than $350 dollars worth of pennies to help support Free the Children's Fresh Water Campaign.

Students hosted their 19th Annual Cancer Drive on Wednesday April 24, 2013 and raised $34,745 for cancer research.

Social media occupies a huge part of daily life for many students. Teaching students the proper use of applications like Facebook and Twitter is an ongoing challenge for schools.

The OCDSB would like to thank those community partners who have supported our school based SHSM and Focus Construction Programs by providing houses for our students to build.

The OCDSB supports and values the involvement of parent and community volunteers in its elementary and secondary schools.

The OCDSB and its schools are committed to gaining a better understanding of our student population so that it will help us improve student achievement. Schools are to decide when to complete the survey between April 1st and May 31st, 2013.
