The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board welcomes Leadership Portfolios from qualified staff and external applicants for future Elementary and Secondary Principal and Vice-Principal positions.
Qualifications
Vice-Principal candidates must have completed Part I of the Principal's Qualification Program at the time of application (i.e. by March 9, 2012) and completed Part II of the Principal’s Qualification Program prior to the time of appointment.
Principal candidates must have completed Part I and II of the Principal's Qualification Program at the time of application (i.e. by March 9, 2012).
Information Sessions
Interested applicants are expected to attend one of the information sessions coordinated by Staff Development. The information sessions will review the entire selection process including the criteria for selection; the nature and type of documentation required; the phases of the process; and the timelines for the competition.

Leadership Portfolio
The deadline for submission of Leadership Portfolios will be March 9, 2012 at noon with the completion of the selection process and final results known by the end of November.
