Mental Health

Our community, like many others, struggles with mental health issues. Staff, parents, students and community members have many questions and need guidance. It is our hope that through this site we will be able to not only provide resources but also create more of a dialogue around mental health in our schools and community.

Mental health concerns can include both emotional and behavioural problems, from changes in mood and increased anxiety, to anger and issues paying attention. It is important to remember that all adults, children and youth may experience brief problems, but when they begin to interfere with school, family, work, or everyday living, it is important to seek help.

Do you want more information or need help?

It is important to both ask for help when you need it and offer it to others when they need it. Find out more below about what you can do to help or where to get help.
