The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board supports the development of sustainable education-business relationships between the District, its schools, and the community. We encourage community groups, businesses, corporations, labour groups, civic organizations, industries, government agencies, colleges, universities, and others to join in developing these relationships and becoming a part of the OCDSB community. A variety of public and private partnerships exist, each of which contributes to the education of our students in an important way. Mutually beneficial, partnerships with the OCDSB ensure that students are provided with the opportunity and resources to succeed while businesses and organizations can gain a better understanding of the needs of the public education system, get to directly affect quality of education, and promote skill development that will later benefit them when students make the transition from school to work.
