Youth Substance Use - Support when you need it

Concerned about youth drinking, drugs or substance abuse?  The OCDSB invites you to attend our Speaker Series hosted by the Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services. Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services and the OCDSB have worked in partnership for over 20 years. Find out how the School Based Program provides support to students and their families throughout the phases of youth substance use, from prevention to intervention. Learn signs and symptoms to be aware of and how to access help when needed.

Speakers: 
Liz Parsons has worked as a social worker for 30 years across Canada in many settings and has 20 years of experience in school based programs supporting youth and families. She has been at Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services since 2002.
 
Nadine McLean has worked in a variety of settings supporting youth and their families for over 13 years. She has been at Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services since 2010. 

Ms. Parsons and Ms. Mclean are co-managers of the Youth, Parent and School Based Program at Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services.​
