Volunteers Make A Big Difference At Our Schools

Parents are invited to participate in the day-to-day activities of school life by volunteering at their child’s school. Offering to help can make a positive difference in your child’s education. You could be asked to prepare classroom materials, help out at special school events, or read to students. Join your school council and find out more about the many activities planned for this school year or simply call the Principal of your child’s school.

Retirees, seniors, university students, and other community members (non - parents) can also get involved through the Ottawa Volunteers in Education program run by the
Ottawa Network for Education
