Consultations

We want to hear your opinions, your thoughts, and your concerns so that together we can develop workable strategies to implement the Extended Day program. Three community evening presentations have been planned that we hope you will attend.

The first of the three information evenings is scheduled for October 17, 2011. This session will feature guest speakers including Dr. Charles Pascal. Dr. Pascal has been closely involved with the introduction of Full Day Kindergarten throughout the province. In addition, there will be an opportunity available to ask questions and raise concerns about how the Extended Day program will be delivered in our District.

The second session is intended for current third party providers and will occur on October 19, 2011. Due to space, we ask that only one representative from each provider attends this session.

The October 27, 2011 presentation is all about you. We want to listen - this will be your opportunity to provide your input. In addition to that evening, you will be able to comment via email or letters.

We welcome your involvement and we encourage you to attend one or both of these evening presentations. Our goal is to create a sustainable program that benefits your children and your families.
