ESL 

Adult ESL & LINC

Continuing Education provides English language instruction to meet the specific and changing needs of our learners according to language abilities. We offer classes in pre-literacy to advanced levels, TOEFL Preparation, Conversation at the advanced level, and more. We prepare people for further education, such as high school, college and university. We help to empower students and their families by facilitating and encouraging their participation within their communities.

ESL Registration Information

REGISTRATION for WINTER:
Albert Street Education Centre, 440 Albert Street, ROOM E122 A
Mondays & Wednesdays, 11:00am - 6:00pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11:00am - 3:00pm

What you MUST bring with you to register:

  • Immigration papers/Citizenship card
  • Proof of Ontario Address

Monday to Friday:
Morning classes run 9am-12noon
Afternoon classes run 12:30-3:30pm


Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:
Evening classes run 6:30-9:30pm

There is a $10.00 activity fee for ESL Classes which will be collected at the time of registration.

LINC Registration Information 

REGISTRATION for WINTER:

Monday & Wednesdays, 11:00am -6:00pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11:00am - 3:00pm

What you MUST bring with you to register:

  • Immigration papers/Citizenship card
  • Proof of Ontario Address

LINC eligible students must present documents from the National Capital Regional YMCA-YWCA Language Assessment and Referral Centre, 240 Catherine Street, 613-238-5462.

Free childcare available for eligible families.
