PLEASE NOTE: As of May 1st, 2014, all ESL and LINC testing will now be done at the Language Assessment Centre at 240 Catherine Street, 3rd Floor. Please phone 613-238-5462  to make an appointment.

Continuing Education provides various English language instruction options to meet the specific need and abilities of our learners. We offer classes in pre-literacy to advanced levels, TOEFL Preparation, conversation courses at the advanced level, and more. We prepare learners for further education, such as high school, college and university. Also, we help to empower students and their families by facilitating and encouraging participation within their communities.

English as a Second Language

Ongoing Registration

REGISTRATION For FALL 2014:
When: Ongoing to December 11th 
Tues/Thurs, 10:30am - 3:30pm and Wed, 10:30 to 6:30pm
Where: 440 Albert St, Room E122

Registration Requirments:
• You must have current benchmarks from a LINC or ESL class or you must be tested at the Language Assessment Centre at 240 Catherine Street
• Bring your Immigration documents • You must register in person
• Bring Proof of Ontario Address  • Bring your ESL Materials fee of $10

Monday to Friday:
Morning classes run 9am-12noon
Afternoon classes run 12:30-3:30pm

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:
Evening classes run 6:30-9:30pm

A $10.00 activity fee for ESL classes will be collected at the time of registration.

What you MUST bring with you to register
• Immigration papers/Citizenship card
• Proof of Ontario Address

LINC and ESL eligible students must present documents from the National Capital Regional YMCA-YWCA Language Assessment and Referral Centre, 240 Catherine Street, 613-238-5462.
