Summer School 2013
Experience a summer of learning! Earn credits, gain work experience and improve skills! Wednesday, July 3 to Friday, July 26 at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School, Adult High School, Sir Robert Borden High School or Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School.
What you need to know before you Register!
If registering online you will need:
Your child's nine-digit student number (find this on your timetable)
A valid e-mail address for confirmation e-mails.
Approval from your home school Guidance Counsellor. This process has been automated. Guidance counsellors will provide their approval online directly to Continuing Education. Students must advise their Guidance Counsellor to expedite the process.
A valid credit card for textbook desposit fee payment.
A Paypal account. When registering online the deposit fee is paid through your Paypal account using a valid credit card. If you do not have a Paypal account, you will be asked to create one. The deposit fee refund will be directed to your Paypal account. No other method of payment or refund is available for online registration. Visit http://www.paypal.ca/ca to learn more about Paypal.
If registering in person you will need:
Your child's nine-digit student number (Find this on your timetable)
A valild e-mail address for confirmation e-mails.
A hard copy of the registration form with your child's Guidance Counsellor's approval signature.
A textbook deposit fee of $80 per course is required at registration. Only cash or money orders made payable to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board will be accepted. An $80 refund will be issued to students upon return of the textbook in satisfactory condition at the end of the course. Textbook refund issues must be addressed within one calendar year of the commencement of the course. Textbook deposit records are not retained beyond this time period.
