Learning For Life Magazine

Learning for Life is a magazine produced by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board three times a year focusing on the extensive selection of Continuing Education programs available to enrich you and your family’s educational experiences.

The General Interest Program offers a wide range of activities including: arts and crafts, business and finance, cooking, languages, self-development, and so much more. Thousands of people register for general interest programs each year. It’s easy and inexpensive to register— by telephone, by fax, via the Internet, or in person.

The Extra Curricular Creative Arts (ECCA) Program offers arts instructional courses to elementary and intermediate students. This program provides students with wonderful opportunities to develop and enhance their creative and artistic abilities.

Credit Night School and Remedial Literacy and Numeracy programs can really make the difference between passing and failing by giving students the added help they may need to succeed. Adults can also take advantage of Credit Night School and the Mature Student Evaluation and Prior Learning Assessment Recognition processes to fulfill the requirements needed for a Secondary School Diploma.
