Online courses offer Ottawa-Carleton District School Board students the flexibility to access courses that might not otherwise be available to them and to choose the best time of day to learn. Students taking one of our rich, engaging courses can learn online anywhere they have reliable daily access to a computer and Internet connection.

Taking an online course provides students with the opportunity to gain the independent learning skills they will need to be successful whether they are headed to the workplace, college or university. Many post-secondary institutions require their students to complete some of their learning online. Taking an online course in secondary school is a great way to prepare for this.
