Kanata South ARC Public Meeting #2 - June 16, 2011

The Kanata South ARC is hosting a public meeting to gather input from the community on various preliminary concepts that the group has been discussing over the last several months. Your input on these concepts will assist the ARC in generating long term accommodation options for the schools in Kanata South. These options will then be presented at a public meeting in the fall of 2011 where the ARC will receive input from the community before finalizing their options.
The ARC is considering the following concepts:
*grade structures for schools: JK-Grade 6, JK-Grade 8, JK-Grade 3/Grades 4-8
*Grades 7-12 configuration for A.Y. Jackson S.S.
*shifting the current boundary line between A.Y. Jackson S.S. and Earl of March S.S. to Highway 417 to be consistent with MFI boundary change approved for Interim Measures for September 2011
Please note that these are only preliminary concepts. Additional concepts may be presented at the June 16 meeting.
