On 15 June 2009, The accommodation Review Committee presented their final School Valuation Report to a special Committee of the Whole meeting.

Accommodation Review Committee Scenarios

On April 1st, 2009, the Accommodation Review Committee (ARC) held a public Open House meeting at Meadowlands Public School to present scenarios to the community.

The following five scenarios were presented:

Scenario 0 – Status Quo
Scenario 1 – McGregor Easson P.S. and Carleton Heights P.S. Amalgamate
Scenario 2 – Sir Winston Churchill P.S. and Merivale H.S. Amalgamate as 7-12 School
Scenario 3 – Parkwood Hills P.S. and Sir Winston Churchill P.S. Amalgamate as JK-8 School
Scenario 4 – Meadowlands P.S. add Early French Immersion

Minutes from Open House Meeting - April 1

What's Next?

The ARC is looking for your input and comments on the scenarios presented as well as on the guiding principles that were used to help develop their scenarios.

All input/feedback will be gathered and used to assist the ARC in formulating a recommendation report which is scheduled to be received by the Board of Trustees on June 15th, 2009.

In the fall, Board staff will present their recommendation report, followed by public delegations and Trustee debate. Final Trustee decision is expected in January 2010 for implementation by September 2010. Refer to the Timelines section for more details.

In February, staff presented to the ARC preliminary accommodation scenarios to provide the ARC with a starting point in assisting them to formulate their own scenarios
