The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board champions an atmosphere of openness and respect. We lead by example. This Sunday close to 200 members of the OCDSB family are expected to participate in Capital Pride Parade 2017.
OCDSB is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere where all students and staff feel accepted. Members of the OCDSB family will either walk or ride in the yellow school bus to demonstrate this commitment. On Sunday, August 27, 2017.
Where: Near Gladstone & Bank (look for the big yellow school bus)

Parade runs from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
Parade Route: The parade starts on Gladstone at Bank, turns onto Kent, Laurier, and Bank St. ending at Bank St and Somerset by 3:00pm. A Parade route map is available here:

Everyone is invited to participate. It is important to note this is not a school based event and no supervision of students will be provided. Similarly no transportation of students to and from the event will be offered.
