How We Used the Feedback
After the survey closed and we consolidated the feedback, shared the results with stakeholders; responded to key questions; and further explored the data, key themes, and trends overall and within specific groups. We used these insights to improve:
- Safety rules;
- Technology supports;
- Consistency of practice;
- Training and resources in support of well-being;
- Communications, with increased direct messaging to students and targeted groups;
- and much more.
To continue monitoring how our students, families and staff are doing during this challenging year, we are checking in again with another survey February 16th-26th. This will help us find ways to continue to improve how we do things at the OCDSB, and will help us to plan for next year. Learn more about the Mid-School Year Check-In Survey.
