I am a service leader, dedicated to learning with and from school teams and school communities in the interest of successful outcomes for all students and staff. My leadership capabilities have evolved through twenty-nine years of teaching and leadership in classrooms, in schools, with the Ministry of Education, at a Faculty of Education and through system and executive leadership positions in the Toronto and Durham public school districts. A senior executive since 2011, my goal is always to influence and motivate colleagues, staff, community partners and students to activate their voices, and to realize their potential. I draw on wisdom gleaned from experience to navigate the expected as well as the unpredictable challenges that emerge in changing, learning organizations.
