OCDSB to host Transition Planning Workshop series in March

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is organizing a Transition Planning Workshop series. These virtual information sessions will provide detailed information to families and caregivers of students with developmental disabilities about how they can support their child as they transition to a life beyond high school.

OCDSB’s Transition Team in Learning Support Services (LSS) will be conducting these workshops in partnership with specific community agencies that support families in this process. These workshops will cover important topics that include Navigating the System, Community Day/Programs, Post-Secondary Education Opportunities and Employment Opportunities & Support.

Participants do not have to register for these Zoom workshops and these sessions will be recorded and will be available on the OCDSB website for those who cannot attend and/or would like to view them again at their convenience.

For details of the workshops and other information, please visit this OCDSB webpage.
