Dear OCDSB Families,

As we begin March Break, we’d also like to remind you that Daylight Savings begins on Sunday, March 13th. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour.

Registration Now Open for Early Learning During the 2022-2023 School Year
Registration for the Extended Day Program (EDP) for the 2022-2023 school year is now open. Families currently enrolled in EDP are invited to re-register until April 15th, and new families are welcome to apply for EDP as well.

Confirming Transportation for the 2022-2023 School Year
The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA) now requires parents and guardians of all eligible students, including PRESTO, to confirm their transportation for the 2022-2023 school year. It is important to do so before the deadline of April 3, 2022, or your child may not have transportation on the first day of school. Visit OSTA’s website to confirm your transportation plans.

OCDSB School Climate Survey for Students Coming Soon
In April 2022, the OCDSB will be conducting a School Climate Survey in class for students in grades 4-12. The School Climate Survey is part of our ongoing efforts to create and maintain safe, inclusive and accepting schools, and the feedback gathered helps us understand to what extent parents and students feel their school promotes learning, positive behaviour, and a safe and inclusive environment. Learn more by taking a look at our FAQs.
