Dear Students, Hard to believe but we have reached the end of another school year together. This year may have been filled with new challenges to overcome, but it was also filled with new accomplishments, exciting milestones, and unforgettable moments of community and connection. I have been so inspired by your enduring drive to learn, and the way you have shown support for your fellow students and your teachers. You have remained committed to your studies and to making our schools better, safer, and more welcoming places to be. I am so proud of everything you have worked so hard to achieve this year.

Hello OCDSB Students, June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, an opportunity to celebrate the beauty and brilliance of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. This is a day that Indigenous students and staff may decide to engage in activities with family and community at home or at events. We also encourage all families and students to take the opportunity to learn more and celebrate, or to join in a community activity. Our work in this area is led by the OCDSB's fantastic Indigenous Education Team

Hello OCDSB Students, Summer Learning Programs for Indigenous, Black and 2SLGBTQ+ youth Registration is open for the OCDSB’s summer learning programs for Indigenous, Black and 2SLGBTQ+ youth. Please visit our website to learn more about Indigenous Summer Learning, the Sankofa Academy for Black Youth, and the 2SLGBTQ+ Voices: Building Bridges Program. These programs provide a great opportunity for in-person learning over the summer, and free transportation is available.
