OCDSB Speaker Series Presents: Social Media and Your Kids, a Webinar with MediaSmarts
Do you wonder how your child is using social media? Join the OCDSB and MediaSmarts on Wednesday, April 19th for a virtual Speaker Series event that will help parents better understand how their kids are using social networking. Understanding the connected world of kids and teens can be challenging for parents. Adults do not communicate online in the same way as kids, and not necessarily on the same social media networks. This workshop will provide parents and caregivers with tips and tools to help their kids minimize negative experiences and maximize the positive opportunities that social media has to offer.
