December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. It is recognized each year on this date in memory of the 14 young women murdered at Polytechnique Montréal on December 6, 1989.
Today we remember and honour all who have experienced gender-based violence, and those we have lost to it.
