Eid al-Fitr is the ‘Festival of Breaking the Fast,’ and is one of the two most important Islamic celebrations of the year. It is a joyous celebration that marks the end of Ramadan and is celebrated in many ways.
Observance of Eid al-Fitr begins at sunset on April 20, with special worship and prayers occurring primarily on April 21.
