Are you worried about your child and their stress level?  We know that as the years go by, things can get overwhelming. Join us for a conversation about youth mental health, what you can do to connect with your child and strategies to help them cope. It is important to know that language, communication and acceptance is key in creating a healthy dialogue around mental health. Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sir Robert Borden High School 131 Greenbank Road

Speakers:

Mary Alexandrou — Program Coordinator, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario’s (CHEO) youth mental health program called YouthNet

Natalie Markoff — Director of Communication & Partnerships, Parents’ Lifelines of Eastern Ontario (PLEO)

The OCDSB values well-being and providing opportunities to parents and educators to learn more about supporting youth. This will allow us to work collaboratively to better support student learning.
