May 3-9 is Mental Health Week. It offers an opportunity to reflect on the steps we can all take to support our mental health, cope with these challenging times, and find the help we need.
The OCDSB mental health team will be offering families an opportunity to hear from and ask questions to our mental health professionals. We will be hosting group sessions for parents to ask general questions about how to promote and sustain mental health.
Space will be limited to encourage better discussion. These virtual conversations will be held over Zoom. There will be general sessions for elementary, secondary and early-learning families. There will also be sessions for Indigenous and racialized families.
