MANY VOICES COLLABORATE TO CREATE OUR ECOSYSTEM

Throughout the pandemic, we have been working with continuity of learning tables. These tables have been engaged in the continuity of learning discussion throughout Learn at home and now planning for the return to school. Regular meetings which engage union partners, Principals and vice principals, Learning Support Services, including staff leads with responsibility for mental health Equity and Indigenours Education staff leads Business and Learning Technology

Consultation

Feedback from the community has been instrumental in our planning.

In April, over 7000 parents, students and staff shared their thoughts about their experiences with learning at home, including the challenges of learning at home, competing priorities and demands, adjusting to the workload, establishing a routine for learning and managing deadlines - all of these were challenging.

This feedback helped to refine our practice and to inform decision making.

In July, over 30,000 parents, students and staff responded to our survey and were overwhelmingly in favour of a plan which supported the safe return to school.

School Based Communication

In the weeks ahead, school staff will be busy implementing school specific protocols and practices based on our Return to School Plan.
