The 2019 Student Recognition Awards are in the record books. Just over 250 students, staff and their families were in attendance at the 14thannual awards celebration.
The evening is designed to acknowledge the work of graduating grade 12 students from all 26 OCDSB High Schools including Adult High School, 6 secondary alternate sites. In addition, 1 student is presented with a District Excellence in Equity Award.
Some students have left war-torn countries, some have overcome physical and emotional barriers, and some are change makers who challenge societal norms in the classroom and around the world. The one thing they all share is their commitment to learning. The students embody honest respect and responsibility. Their stories have just begun. These students are confident enough to know they can change the world for the better - so they will! We wish these students and all students success and happiness as they begin a new chapter in their life.
