Friday, February 16, 2024 is a Professional Activity (PA) Day for OCDSB elementary and secondary school staff. There will be no classes for students on this day.
EarlyON Centres and OCDSB-operated Extended Day Programs will be closed. If your child is enrolled in a Third Party-Operated Extended Day Program, please confirm with the care provider regarding operating hours on the PD day.
This is a multiple theme day planned through collaborative professionalism with all our employee groups and federations. All educators and members of support staff will be engaged in a range of professional learning focused on topics relating to student achievement and well-being. For educators, the day will include topics relating to Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies, Guidance and the Arts.
