In recognition of Remembrance Day on November 11th, OCDSB staff and students will be participating in Remembrance Day ceremonies on Friday, November 10th.
Over the past few weeks, students have had many opportunities to learn about Remembrance Day, and the importance of honouring those who have served and continue to serve during times of war, conflict, and peace.
Schools will host their own Remembrance Day ceremonies with student and staff participation, guest speakers and where possible, community involvement. An in-person ceremony will also take place at the Board office at 133 Greenbank Road on November 10th at 10:30 a.m., which community members are welcome to attend.
