World Autism Day – April 3rd
Autism is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder that affects one in 68 children. It affects the way people interact and communicate with those around them. Each child and adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is unique and has their own strengths, gifts and support needs.

To raise awareness on Autism, OCDSB will be displaying information about autism including curriculum information, e-learning resources, community resources, and more in the atrium at 133 Greenbank Road on Tuesday, April 3rd. We will also be displaying art and other engaging activities showcasing the talents of our OCDSB students.

Schools are also encouraged to wear blue and join us in celebrating the diversity of our students within the OCDSB.
