Virtual and In Person Placement Opportunities

2 Credit: July 4 - August 18, 2023

Students meet with their Teacher:
June 7 - 6:45 pm - 7:15 pm
This Summer Program will offer students enrolled in Grades 11 and 12 for the 2023-2024 school year the opportunity to gain valuable work experience directly in the workforce through face-to-face or virtual placements. The program makes every effort to offer these options in both English and French languages.
Some students may choose to work with a virtual mentor(s) within a community organization with a sector specific focus such as business, healthcare, or law, among others. This option will be available in English.
All virtual and in-person placements must be located in the National Capital Region and be pre-approved by your assigned Co-operative Education Teacher
Students will be able to use this experience to meet OCDSB SHSM requirements for their sector or complete graduation requirements needed for their OSSD.
