Do you have a temporary status in Canada?
- Diplomat
- Refugee
- Military/NATO Orders
- Parent on a Study Permit
- Parent with a Visitor Visa
- Parent on a Work Permit

Do you have difficulty reading or understanding English?
The OCDSB Family Reception Centre is designed to help if English is not your first language. Staff can also assist with new Permanent Residents to Canada, families returning from abroad or transferring from a French language school board. Please call our Family Reception Centre at 613-239-2416 to make an appointment.

Where your child goes to school depends on where they live. Insert your address into our School Locator to find your school. Students can also choose to attend our virtual school.
If you want your child to attend a different school, you must apply for a cross-boundary transfer. Learn more about the process. Please note, not all transfers are approved.

Once you know your school, you can complete our online registration form using a computer. The form cannot be completed using a phone or tablet.
