Starting out in 2007, Earth Hour is now the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment, inspiring millions of people to take action for our planet and nature.
OCDSB schools are encouraged to take part in the Earth Hour challenge this year on Friday, March 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (times may vary depending on the school schedule). Schools can participate by turning off lights and other electronic devices that are not required for the hour in order to bring awareness to climate change.
Please visit the Earth Hour website for more information.
