Janice McCoy will serve as interim Executive Officer of Corporate Services for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
Janice holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Bachelor of Law (llB) from Osgoode Hall Law School. She has also completed a Program in School Board Management at the University of Ottawa.
Janice was formerly the Superintendent of Human Resources for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. In this role, she was responsible for the development and implementation of several key policies and procedures, including Respectful Workplace (Harassment Prevention), Workplace Violence Prevention, Equitable Recruitment, and Hiring and Promotion.
Janice is a Past Board member of the Canadian Association for the Practical Study of Law and Education, and a Past Board Member and Vice-Chair of School Boards Cooperative Inc.
