This winter, many in our OCDSB community are celebrating holidays or marking important occasions together. In December this includes Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, Yule, Yalda, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Zarathushti. In early January, many will observe new year celebrations, Orthodox Christmas, and the Birthday of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Across the District, students have engaged in learning activities to explore the diverse holidays, traditions, and celebrations observed in their school communities. Below, you can see some of the presentations, displays, concerts, discussions, and delicious treats shared within our schools.
