International Women’s Day recognizes and celebrates women and girls, and the many ways they contribute to our social, economic, cultural, and political spheres. It is also a time to raise awareness of the progress made towards achieving gender equality and acknowledging the work remaining to be done. At the OCDSB we believe in gender equality and the empowerment of girls.
