OCDSB partners with the Department of National Defence for the Army Reserve Co-op Program

The OCDSB is pleased to announce the National Capital Region Army Reserve Cooperative Education Program. This Co-op is a joint undertaking between the OCDSB and the 33 Canadian Brigade Group. The aim of this Co-op program is to introduce young Canadians to career opportunities in the Armed Forces and Army Reserves.

Program Details:
- Tentatively scheduled to start in February 2025 (Sem 2)
- Participating students will be required to complete Basic Military Qualifications
- Weekday placements run from ~7:30 a.m. - 4:40 p.m. (may vary)
- Paid experience which earns students > $124.40/day
Student Candidate Requirements:
- 16 years of age or older (students under 18 will require guardian permission)
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Have completed 15 High School Credits
- Highly Motivated and seeking a challenge
- Interest in the Canadian Armed Forces
- Enrolled in full day Co-op for Sem 2
