Stephen Carrière serves as the Executive Officer of Accountability, Alignment and Strategic Services for the OCDSB. He is responsible for branding and marketing the District, driving strategic initiatives and aligning the work of various parts of the organization. He oversees the Communications & Public Relations Department and the Research, Evaluation & Analytics Department.
Stephen’s professional background includes creating, implementing and measuring strategic plans across both private and public sector organizations. He has led large-scale program and change management initiatives that have driven significant transformation and measurable impact. He also has strong expertise in marketing and stakeholder engagement with diverse communities.
Stephen's work involves connecting the District's strategies and plans with tangible, day-to-day activities to drive meaningful outcomes in student achievement, wellness and staff engagement. He also uses his expertise in marketing and stakeholder engagement to foster trust and alignment within the diverse community. He is committed to strengthening the existing data-driven culture to ensure that the OCDSB's efforts are both sustainable and effective in achieving real, positive outcomes.
