2024-2025 Director's Citation and Employee Recognition Award Winners Celebrated at Awards Ceremony

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board celebrated the 2024-2025 Director's Citation and Employee Recognition Award Winners on Tuesday, May 20th at 133 Greenbank with an intimate ceremony including family, friends and staff members. Attendees enjoyed light refreshments and networking in the lobby before entering the board room for the start of the award presentations. 

 Each year, the Director’s Citation Award and Employee Recognition Awards provide a valuable opportunity to recognize the OCDSB's staff members. These awards allow staff members to appreciate and celebrate one another for the incredible work they do each day.

The Director’s Citation Award recognizes outstanding and significant staff contributions to the District and its students over an extended period of time, showing a level of imagination, enthusiasm and professionalism that constitutes a worthy model for others. It is intended to be a recognition of staff, by their colleagues, honouring those who are in the midst of their careers.

The Employee Recognition Awards recognize outstanding and significant staff contributions, specifically in the areas of equity, health and safety, innovation, technology and mentorship. These include:
